Stone Lake Cranberry Festival Royalty
Information, QualifICATIONS & application

REGISTRATION COMING SOON - Application Deadline - June 15 - August 1

King & Queen Applicants: 9th – 12th grade students:
​

To apply, applicants must agree to all the below criteria:
  • Live in Stone or Sand Lake townships and/or attend one of the following school districts: Spooner, Birchwood or Hayward.
  • Able to participate in the Stone Lake Cranberry Festival events and Parade on the first Saturday in October, 10 AM – 3 PM.
  • Able to participate in the coronation dinner which is the Thursday prior to Cranberry Festival at 5 PM.
    • Note: Dinner is complimentary for the participant. Dinner tickets for family and friends, $20 per person.
  • Able to participate in a minimum of three (3) additional parades through the reigning year:  Hayward - Musky Festival, Birchwood - Bluegill Festival and Spooner - Rodeo Parade
  • Parents must be willing to help/volunteer if asked which may include pulling the float in the parades.  
    • Note:  Only licensed drivers over 21 are allowed to pull festival float.
  • If the Queen meets all requirements and remains the Festival Queen for one (1) Year (CranFest to following CranFest) a
    $250 Scholarship will be awarded.
  • If the King meets all requirements and remains the Festival King for one (1) Year (CranFest to following CranFest) a
    $250 Scholarship will be awarded.
  • There will be one (1) Queen & one (1) King chosen for this category.
    • They may be asked to resign their position if the above qualifications are not being met.
    • Note: Should there be more than one (1) registered for this category, King & Queen will be randomly drawn for their participation for the season

Prince & Princess Applicants:  5th – 8th grade students:

To apply, applicants must agree to all the below criteria:
  • Live in Stone or Sand Lake townships and/or attend one of the following school districts: Spooner, Birchwood or Hayward.
  • Able to participate in the Stone Lake Cranberry Festival events and Parade on the first Saturday in October, 10 AM – 3 PM.
  • Able to participate in the coronation dinner which is the Thursday prior to Cranberry Festival at 5 PM.
    • Note: Dinner is complimentary for the participant. Dinner tickets for family and friends, $20 per person.

Jr Cranberry Court:  Kindergarten – 4th grade students

To apply, applicants must agree to all the below criteria:
  • Live in Stone or Sand Lake townships and/or attend one of the following school districts: Spooner, Birchwood or Hayward.
  • Able to participate in the Stone Lake Cranberry Festival events and Parade on the first Saturday in October, 10 AM – 3 PM.
  • Able to participate in the coronation dinner which is the Thursday prior to Cranberry Festival at 5 PM.
    • Note: Dinner is complimentary for the participant. Dinner tickets for family and friends, $20 per person.
  • Able to participate in a minimum of one (1) additional parade through the reigning year:  Hayward - Musky Festival, Birchwood - Bluegill Festival or Spooner - Rodeo Parade

  • There will be four (4) Princesses chosen for this category: Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby, & Emerald.
    • Note: Should there be more than four (4) registered for this, Jr. Princesses will be selected at random for their participation
  • There will be four (4) Princes chosen for this category: Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby, & Emerald.
    • Note: Should there be more than four (4) registered for this category, Jr. Cranberry Court will be randomly drawn for their participation
    • A title holder may not seek a title they have already held previously.
