The Stone Lake Cranberry Festival is held Annually on the first Saturday of October. This year it falls on Oct. 2, 2010.

PARADE ENTRY

  • Print and complete Parade Application and return as indicated on the form
  • Make sure to include a script for the Parade announcer for your entry.
  • Once application is received and approved by the Parade Committee a confirmation letter, Parade Pass and Festival map will be mailed to you.
  • Only one Parade Pass will be issued per unit. Example: If parade unit is to arrive by bus, one pass will be issued for the bus. Parents or guests not on the bus will be directed to the parking lots.
  • Parking fees in lots are $5.00 per vehicle and all proceeds benefit local non-profits.
  • NO copies of parade passes will be accepted

DAY OF PARADE

  •  START TIME - Parade begins promptly at 1:00pm
  • PARADE LINE-UP - Please follow Festival Map to reach parade parking area.

                 Entries will be assigned numbers as they arrive.
                 Lineup Positions will be assigned at the discretion of the Parade organizer. 
                 Changes may occur so please have someone with  your parade unit at all times.

  • NEW THIS YEAR - All Entries will line up along County Hwy F and surrounding streets.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO THROWING OF ANY ITEM 

     You may NOT throw candy, buttons, literature etc… of any kind. If you would like to pass out items you MUST have walkers pass them out. The Sheriff’s Department will issue citations and you will be  held liable for any accident caused due to items being thrown

  • PERFORMANCES - All performing units will be required to be in full performance for the duration of the parade
  • SPACING – Intervals of 50 feet required between units
  • NO ALCOHOL – Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed at the lineup or on the parade route.
  • COMPLETE PARADE ROUTE – All units are required to complete the entire parade route
  • SIRENS, HORNS & LOUD NOISES

   Please be conservative when sounding sirens, horns and load noises. Be aware of volume and the duration of the noise on the parade route to minimize noise discomfort for sensitive ears. Do not allow you volume to interfere with the other performances, or to startle animals or participants.

  • ADDITIONAL VEHICLES – No buses or equipment trucks may follow parade units on the route.

   Complying with these simple rules will make the Cranberry Festival Parade enjoyable for entrants and spectators.
